Happy Christmas you Filthy Animal!

Ok so I am cheating a little as I am kind of using last weeks idea and doing it again but this time I used Double Bass Dougs christmas hat on Cuddly Critters Pig.
I just couldn't get this saying out of my head! Its a christmas classic of a film to quote though. I did toy with the idea of putting the hat on the grumpy gorilla but figured a festive pig  was more in keeping with Christmas (I love crackling and pork pies and pigs in blankets etc...)

So the last minute dash is on to get all my christmas cards made and as usual it all my family cards that get left till last!!

The papers are all from Pebbles Holly Jolly papers and I used Lawn Fawn Harolds Abc stanps to do the greeting. The Merry Christmas is a die cut from green mirri. The Image panel and the mount are die cut from My favourite things double stitched oval dies.

I used promarkers to colour the image -
Baby Pink and Blossom with Warm grey 3 for shading.
Hat - Poppy, ruby & Burgundy with Leaf green and emerald.
Eyes - Powder blue and cloud blue
Bell - Gold and Canary.

Hope you like him and you still have time to get more cards made... keep going?!!

Christmas Troll

Good Morning  - Today is the start of a new challenge over at I love Promarkers.
The theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor is Bugaboo who have some wicked images. I have used an image called  Christmas Troll  to make a special card for my Goddaughter as Trolls are very trendy!

I went with the pink and sweet theme and these papers from Doodlebug were perfect!  The trim across the top is glittered and also from Doodlebug as is the candy brad at the top of the tag. I mounted everything on kraft card which matches the Gingerbread men and die cut a scalloped edge using a My Favourite things die and also a nestibilities dies to create the scalloped circle. I used green glittered letters to spell out the name and a small peel off which I coloured with promarkers to match.
Finally on the sweets I added some glaze and some Cosmic shimmer glitter.

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Hair - Vermillion, Shocking pink & Hot Pink  with white gel pen detail.
Skin - Baby pink & Fuschia pink.
Dress - Lime Zest, Lime Twist & Grass.
Headband - Lush Green & Emerald.
Powder Blue eyes.
Poppy & Ruby on the sweets and candy cane.

I love how she turned out and hope you do to. Looking forward to seeing all your cards in the Anything Goes theme

Suit -  Warm Greys,
Hat - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy with Lime Green & Emerald with gold & canary bell.

Party time with Photocopier Pheobe

Yep - Party season is on us.... every weekend at the mo and it's costing me a fortune!!! Luckily none of my parties take place anywhere near a photocopier or I reckon someone would think this was a good idea like Photocopier Pheobe (Yep - probably me!!)

So this card was used by covering the base card with gold glittery card from Websters page - All that Glitters collection which I mounted onto red mirri card. The greeting is also from the same collection. I added a little ribbon and also a glittery peel off that I shaped with to be a banner.

I covered Pheobe's dress with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen as every girl needs some shimmer at Christmas right?!

I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour Pheobe -
Skin - Usual
Photocopier -  Warm Greys
Dress - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Hair -  Raw sienns, Cocoa, Chestnut & Henna
Glass- Cardinal red & Cloud blue.

Hope you all get to be a little bit naughty this festive season!!
